Electrical Engineer (Engineering Maintenance)


You are the Expert for the technology within your working area. You are accountable to the maintenance KPIs of the production lines and its auxiliary equipment’s and responsible for the Electrical maintenance budget. You assure the safety & legal compliance on maintenance works, drives “Run to standard” culture and assure the teams are working to it (Safety, Quality, CL, CILs, Preventive Maintenance, etc). You will contribute to the implementation of the Maintenance Roadmap based on the Site Strategy and drive behaviors to go back to basic standard condition also by defining basic standard conditions to technicians and production.

  • Analyzing & developing necessary maintenance skills in the team. Initiate meetings to plan all maintenance related activities.
  • Owning, developing and reviewing the quality standards (e.g. SOPs) for maintenance.
  • Coaching Organization in all behaviors and tools in terms of Maintenance & is an expert in the technology.
  • Developing a Skill and Capability Journey for the maintenance team to fulfill the full expert maintenance scope (e.g. Planning and Scheduling), including the development of the Operator maintenance part & is a trainer for your working area.
  • Assisting your superior to provide leadership and direction to shift support electrical technicians to support manufacturing business units operations in order to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Serving as the lead electrical resource in all trouble-shooting activities in the manufacturing department, responsible to support shift technicians and line RST’s when required.
  • Taking responsibility for the effective utilization of the electrical workshop and maintenance of workshop equipment.
  • Any other task assigned by your superior.


You are Confident having…

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in maintenance or electrical/control system in a highly-automated FMCG Manufacturing.
  • ‘Hands-On’ experience as the job will require a very ‘hands-on’ approach in electrical trouble-shooting and maintenance work.
  • Exposure in industry such as Packaging OR Automation OR Chemical OR Steel OR Paper OR Textile.
  • Exposure leading a team of electrical maintenance supervisors/technicians.
  • Siemens Step 7, Rockwell Studio5000 Programming knowledge.
  • Electric diagrams reading / understanding.
  • Knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge about TPM principles.
  • Experience in maintenance of servomotors, AC motors, PLCs, Electronic equipment.
  • Fluent English language.
